About Us

Tahaddi (“challenge” in Arabic) is a Lebanese non-governmental organization dedicated to helping communities overcome economic and social hardships. It provides community-based holistic support through education, primary health care, psychosocial services, and livelihood opportunities, including an income-generating sewing atelier.

Situated within the informal settlement of Hay El Gharbeh in southern Beirut, Tahaddi serves Lebanese families in need, the Dom ethnic minority, displaced individuals, stateless populations, and migrants. Guided by the values of justice, integrity, and compassion, Tahaddi’s programs are available to all regardless of nationality, religion, or social background.
